Air Support Operations Squadron trains in Idaho Sawtooth National Forest

Members of the 124th Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS) of the Idaho Air National Guard participate in intensive outdoor training during exercise Mountain Fury II throughout the Idaho Sawtooth National Forest, June 25. Members of ASOS perform small unit tactics, mounted patrol with HMWVVs, Close Air Support missions, and over watch with the help of the 190th Fighter Squadron’s A-10 Aircraft and B Company, 1-214th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB) CH-47 Chinook Helicopters, Idaho Army National Guard Apache Helicopters and 728th Air Control Squadron, Mt. Home, June 19 through June 27.
