Air Gaurd runs in Sawtooth Relay

Thomas Hine starts the first leg of a 62-mile relay race as part of team “For Wallace,” an Idaho Air National Guard team, at 3 am on June 9, in Stanley, Idaho. Hine is a military spouse of Staff Sgt. Kathleen Hine, 124th Security Forces and is competing with fellow teammates from the Idaho Air Guard who the single largest organization to participate in the 2012 Sawtooth Relay race, which had 6-person teams covering 62-miles through central Idaho, from Stanley to Sun Valley over elevations as high as 8700 feet.
