Joint Forces Personnel Readiness Center Officially Opens

Brig. Gen. Gary Sayler Commanding General for the Idaho National Guard cuts the ribbon for the opening of the Joint Forces Personnel Readiness Center and signing of the Idaho National Guard and Reserves Family Covenant at Gowen Field Sunday. The center will serve as a one-stop shop for Idaho service members of all branches and their families preparing for deployment, during and post deployment. “We have made great strides in the last few years with General Lafrenz as a driving force and his vision of helping soldiers, airman, sailors and marines,” said Brig. Gen. Sayler. The covenant outlines a commitment to improve family readiness with a focus on existing family programs and services, healthcare, education, youth services, childcare and employment.
