Senior Airman Heidi Caye, environmental protection specialist for the 124th Civil Engineer Squadron otsses an aluminum can she found in the trash into a blue recycling receptacle Feb. 28 at Gowen Field in Boise, Idaho. She and Master Sgt. Robert McGarvie, bioenvionrmental engineer from the 124th Medical Group, began the process of evaluating the wing's recycling program by sifting through trash dumpsters to determine what percentage of trash airmen throw away is actually recyclable.

The Idaho Military History Museum supplied a fire detail for this 75mm Pack Howitzer that fired off three rounds at the conclusion of the ceremony May 24. Bricks like these can be purchased through the Idaho Military History Museum website at http://museum.mil.idaho.gov/. Funds will go to future improvements on the park such as a service seal display and an outdoor amphitheater for small unit functions. Guardsmen of the Year banquet
124th Fighter Wing Airmen gathered together at the Grove Hotel, in Boise, for the annual Guardsmen of the Year Banquet Jan. 14, 2012. This regular gathering is a chance to honor Airmen who have excelled in the past year in quarterly competitions. It also gives Airmen a chance to formally come together and enjoy an evening celebrating the unique culture of the Idaho Air National Guard. Chief Master Sgt. Christopher Muncy, the Command Chief Master Sgt. to the Director of the Air National Guard presented the keynote address about the unique Air National Guard mission.
