The second annual Military Division Legislative Day at the Boise State Capitol allows state legislators and officials of the Idaho State Historical Society to meet with The Idaho Adjutant General and other key National Guard military members, held in the Capitol Rotunda Jan. 15. Pilots, ground troops train in Boise urban setting
Residents of Boise can expect to hear the A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft and see ground troops communicating with the pilots in and around the city neighborhoods and the Boise foothills July 16-25. These U.S. Air Force ground personnel are known as Tactical Air Control Specialists and they play a key role in the teamwork needed to successfully conduct urban combat operations.
