Idaho Air Guard pilot named 'Hometown Hero'
1st Lt. Wallace first Idaho Air Guardsmen to receive Combat Medal
Master Sgt Dennis Wallace, First Sgt of the 124th Security Forces Squadron Idaho Air National Guard, is the first unit member to receive the Air Force Combat Action Medal. He earned it as a Forward Air Controller while assigned to the 124th Air Support Operations Squadron during deployments to Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
